Many thanks Kari! I am the list owner, although I tend to get
unsubscribed every once and while! I'm also writing a series of six
books on the Lawrence family and so am trying to collect everything I
can on them. The books are fictionalized historical novels but i want
them to be as accurate as possible. Everyone who donates information
will get free copies.

I just quit my full time job and am now writing full time at home. Now I
can FINALLY get caught up on the Lawrence Archives! I'm so excited!

Thanks again. Keep in touch. If anyone is actively doing research, let
us know when you find any Lawrences out there. I'll add them to the
database and hopefully people will find their missing relatives
somewhere.

I, myself, have run across quite a few Lawrences in Iowa in the 1836
census http://www.rootsweb.com/~iamuscat/1836cen/demoine.htm which is
now entirely on line. I have also taken over the Lancashire Gen Web
Host position for the England Gen Web and so will be actively searching
all the parish registers for Lawrences and affiliated families.
