Hello! I found an Esther Ladd, living in Mass. who gave birth to a
MARTHA LADD on Nov. 14, 1856. This Martha Ladd turned up with a Lawrence
Family at age 3; in the census of Enosburg Falls, Vermont, 1860. It
seems a long way from her birthplace for such a young child. How did
she get there and why?
She died November 6, 1880. The Father's name is conspicuously absent on
two different death notices for her in Berkshire Vermont. Can anyone
help me with this? Estelle
