St. Albans is the town in Hertford I cited in my previous email. It lies
about 20 miles NNW of central London. Hertfordshire is the county that
abuts London on the north. Cambridge and the Isle of Ely lie to the NNE
of London with West Essex lying in between. Cambridge, the town, and St.
Albans are about 30 to 40 miles apart as the crow flies.
