I did find your Samuel listed in the Rochester, Monroe, NY 1870 Census.
It listed LAWRENCE, Smith, age 77, Farmer with a S. Maria, age 70 and Eliz
TOWNSLEY age 69 and Ella TOWNSLEY 69.
I also located William LAWRENCE age 35, Teamster from Ireland, his wife
Catherine age 38 also from Ireland with children: John A 13; Catie 10;
William 9; James 8 (I hope this is my link) Frederick 4; Charles 2.
Has anybody researched this line or have any further information that
they would be willing to share. Thank you. Al
