Hi William: I had an uncle named Everett Martin Lawrence, b 12/06/06,
Independence Co. Ark., d. Sept 1973, Perkins, OK; f. John Walter Lawrence,
b.1877, d 1943, Perkins, OK, m. Littitia Justina Fort, b.3/17.1880,Antioch,
Ark., d. 7/19/1977, Edmond, OK. John Walter's f/m are: William G. Lawrence,
b. 5/19/1847 in Ala., d. 12/06/1925 in Ark, m. /Sarah Jane Soward, b. Nov,
1852, d. in Ark.; William G. Lawrence's f/m were: Thomas Lawrence, b. 1786,
in North Carolina, d. 10/25/1860, in independence co., Ark. Thomas is where
I have "hit the stump," and can't seem to dig any further. Thomas was
apparently quite prolific, by my reckoning, he had six children by his first
wife, and a baker's dozen (13) by his second wife, Elizabeth, including my
ancestral line, recited above. I doubt that we can tie our families
together, but thought that the similarity of names is interesting, never the
less. If you happen to run into a tie-in to Thomas Lawrence, please let me
know. Many thanks, and may God bless us all. Jrl.

I am William Everett Lawrence. My father is Everett Russell Lawrence. I
have done research on my Lawrence family and am back seven generations and
Everett does not appear. I realize this name could have come from a
grandmother etc side also.

Is there anyone out there who has an Everett in their Lawrence name or
generations? If so please contact me. Thanks.

Bill Lawrence
