I have a John Lawrence that married a Mary Jane Allison in Florida in 1876
and was from Canada. His children ended up in Ontario, near Toronto. I'm
trying to find links to his parents or siblings in Canada. Could the John
Lawrence, the child of Noble Lawrence be my John Lawrence. Do you know
anything about were John went or who he married. My John was supposed to be
a railroad executive.

RESPONSE to J:

Calvin Lawrence (1859-1931) was said to be of Irish descent. He was
Railroad Commissioner at Parliament in Ottawa. He lived in Toronto as
well, but his home life was centered in St. Thomas, Ontario. He was a
former mayor of St. Thomas. His family were UEs as well.

Interesting!

Howard
