Elder Jonathan Lawrence, who was born in Conn., lived in Dutchess County New
York during the Reverend War. Afterwards he moved to Montgomery County
Virginia. One of his sons, William, left with some of his children and went
to the Rockcastle County Kentucky area. The Virginia line lost touch with
him. My husband's line came from this William. That is our New York to
