I am looking for Lawrance/Lawrence/Laurance family. My great grand mother
was Ann Lawrance born King Edward, Aberdeen. Scotland around 1789 (give 5
years). He father was listed on her death certificate in 1872, as James
Lawrance, Feuar, mother unknown. We have carried out various searches even
using a professional searcher and have not found any information. Ann can
be found from 1841 until her death in Banff with her daughter Jessie Elliot
and Jessie's family Alexander Murdoch (husband). Looking at the possible
date of James Lawrance birth it would have been around 1850/60. The only
families from King Edward was James Lawrance Anne Mair lived in Gamrie and
Macduff had daughter Isabel 1767. James Lawrance who married Jean Pringle
had a son James born around 1749. King Edward. Does any one belong to the
families we have been unable to trace them.

Lawrences. It lists the three brothers. I have a little more info, but
haven't really had any time to do anything with it. I would appreciate an
email with any info you do have. I took the time to list everything I had
on this particular message from Oct. 2001. They are originally from England
and came over with William and John (possibly a third brother ...I've
received an email about this, but haven't verified it yet.) A couple errors
appear in my message (their father's name was not Tuttle, that was Joan
Anrtobus' 2nd husband. ) Hope this helps and doesn't seem too
scatterbrained. Thanks. Renee
