Hello,

I am new to this list and fairly new to genealogy also. I am hoping to trace my great-great grandfather, Levi Lawrence (b.1 Jul 1839, d. 19 feb 1898) who lived in Ohio, in Clearcreek Township and later Amanda, both in Fairfield County. I found him listed with his parents, James and Elizabeth Laurence, on the 1850 Census in Clearcreek Township. James's place of birth is listed as Maryland and Elizabeth's is listed as Virginia.

I would be happy to hear from anyone on the list who may be researching these Lawrences.
