My line goes from Lawson to Law very quickly. My Lawson trail goes cold with
a marriage to a Law. I will tell you that Your Lawson lineage was strong in
Franklin Co., 1780s-1790s Halifax Co 1750s-1780s ., and both banks of the
James River area of Virginia before 1750. The name repeatedly comes up but I
was unable to track the families in my limited time of researching those
counties.
