My Isham is Isham Layfette P. Lawson (I think the P is for Plesant as that is
my ggrandfathers name) b 1815. In my searches I found a John (Black Eye)
Lawson b Bedford Co,. d Stokes NC 1803 m Margaret Bryant b 1735, parents of
Thomas b 1768/1773 Surry Co. Could this be you John Isham. I do not know if
he is part of my Lawsons or not. I found this info on the Stokes Co. NC query
forum. Let me know if this is your Isham.
