Hi Barbara,

Martha Belle (Lawson) Duncan is my Lawson kinfolks. How are you related?
You said that James Lawson Duncan is your Uncle--so who are your parents and
grandparents? My parents, William Albert "Bill" Norman and Sarah Annie
Mayville married in Jonesboro on 16 Aug 1929. My Daddy's grandparents are
William Albert "Ab" Norman and Matilda Jane "Tildy" Lawson, formerly of
Jonesboro. The Lawson's moved to Stone and Baxter counties, AR, by 1880.
(William Lawson and wife, Mahala Mackey--both buried in Big Flat Cemetery,
in Big Flat, Baxter County, AR.) Morgan M. Lawson moved there too--then
moved back to Jonesboro, and stayed.

We attend the Lawson Family Reunion in Jonesboro, the second Sunday in
Sept., each year.

My Mom's nephew, Stephen Lynn Mayville still lives in Jonesboro, too.
So--both sides of my family are there in Jonesboro--and in Harrisburg and
Wynne.

Let me hear from you.

Jerri Ritter
