Watch you dates carefully. The Thomas Lawson in Wayne County, TN who died in
1850 was most likely Thomas, Jr., living with his son and grandson.

This will may be the documentary evidence we've been searching for to prove
our assumptions. Do you have any additional information about Georgia
Lawsons tied in with this lady?

We still are looking for evidence to prove whether Thomas, Jr. or John was
the father of James A. Lawson(1807-1882).

All of these boys were large landholders at one time. Does anyone know how
they acquired these large holdings? Was it land grants for Revolutionary War
service, for some other war or wealth?

The finding of the will is a very important step for many of us in this line.
Let's hope it clears up some other mysteries.
