Hi there, thanks so much for your reply. Unfortunately, what you see is
all that I have. I wish I had more, but I don't.
To be honest with you, I don't think that the John Lawson and Christine
names are correct. They were given to me by another researcher who looked
up the information in a census, probably the 1860 one. From the second
generation down is stuff I got from my great grandmother and her sisters and
brothers, but I have yet to prove these people.
I don't know what else to say. I really want us to have a match. I
guess that we will have to diga little more. Do you know anyone that might
have the 1860 census that we could do a look up in? That might be the best
place to start.

I am interested any any information you have on your first generation -
James Lawson married to Christain. My gggrandfather had a son James
born in Scotland June of 1834 - which would have made him 20 years old
when he and Christian had their first child - any chance you have any
of James's information DOB or his father? I have both for comparison
