I am a Lawson from Seminole, OK. My grandfathers name was George Washington Lawson b. Jalpa, IN, d. Otoe, OK 1911. He was a Baptist Preacher. My father was Grover A. Lawson, b. 1889, d. 1945. I knew of two other Lawson families when I lived in Seminole. Our branch came from Virginia by way of Ohio and Indiana. .
