Of Rock Castle United In Marriage Last Week"

"On Tuesday night of last week, Mr. Albert B. HOLLAND and Miss Nellie
Gray McWATERS were united in marriage at the residence of the bride's
father, Mr. W.C. McWATERS, near Rock Castle, Rev. B.F. HYDE,
officiating. The wedding took palce at 7:30 o'clock, and Dr. Herbert G.
CUNNINGHAM, of this place, and Miss Pansy HOLLAND, sister of the groom,
were the attendants.
"It was a quiet affair, only a few relatives and intimate friends
being present. After the ceremony the wedding party repaired to the
residence of Mr. S.M. HOLLAND, father of the groom, where a supper was
served, only the wedding party and family being present.
"Mr. HOLLAND is the oldest son of Mr.S.M. HOLLAND, and is one of the
most prominent and promising young men of the Rock Castle neighborhood.
His bride is a beautiful and very attractive young lady and possesses
many womanly traits to ____(torn page)____ the life of the one she has
selected as a companion through life, and is very popular in the
community in which she lives.
"Mr. and Mrs. Holland will make their home with the parents of the

*Note: Albert B. HOLLAND (Aug. 15,1881-Nov. 29, 1970) married (1) Miss
Nellie Gray McWATERS (Nov.1, 1890-Jan 21, 1911) in Trigg Co.,KY on Oct
2, 1906. She died 5 days after the birth of their only child; A.B.
Holland later married (2) Miss Nell Bell GRAY (Dec 28, 1884-Mar 13,
1959) in Trigg Co, KY on Sep 29, 1912. A.B. Holland is buried between
both wives in the old Baker Cemetery on Trigg/Lyon Co, KY line.
