Hi Pat (and all),

I'd be happy to <grin>.

Richard HOLLAND (b March 10, 1790/1792 in VA) d. Sept 10, 1835 in Trigg Co.,
KY. He's buried outside the fence at the old Baker Cemetery on the Trigg/Lyon
Co. line (we found several old stones out there - including his - in the early
1980's). His mother was Keturah/Kitty _______; I've not been able to find a
marriage license, etc. to link Kitty to Richard's father (frustrating!).
Richard had one confirmed sibling - a sister, Mary B. (Polly) HOLLAND who
married George INGE in Pittsylvania Co., VA in 1806 (lists her as "daughter of
Kitty Holland"). Keturah HOLLAND deeded her property to her son, Richard, in
1818. In the Pittsylvania Co. (1821), Richard deeded slaves to the children of
his sister, Polly INGE (also mentions her husband, George INGE) of Rockingham
Co., NC.
Richard married Rebecca D. INGE (dau. of John M. INGE & Frances DANCE) in
Pittsylvania Co., VA on Nov 27, 1816.
Richard and Rebecca HOLLAND purchased the original Trigg Co. homestead
(several hundred acres are now under water) from Thomas WADLINGTON and wife
Fury (BAKER) on Jan 1, 1835; he died later that year.

Pat, I don't know if this will help (or just muddy the water). We do know that
one of Rebecca INGE Holland's brothers, Dr. James M. INGE, was in the Trigg Co
area (and Bowling Green) for a time, but I've never found evidence of any
HOLLAND siblings (or cousins) being there. ...might be because Richard died so
soon after moving to KY.
