Marion, I have been watching the LBL messages but have never taken time to send information on the families I seek in Trigg and Lyon County, but in my research, I have discovered an error that you have come up with, along with many others - Rachel Holland married Jesse DENSON (not Denson Deese). If you will read the original census records, the hand writing was very poor and someone mistook the lettering in Jesse's name. The double ss's looked like es and the name was turned around. Jesse Denson was mentioned many times in Stewart County, Tennessee and was probably the brother of James Denson of Trigg County, KY. He was married to Permelia Brown and his father was John Denson who was married to Esther (Matilda) (Thelford/Telford). I need to know more about this family so if you find anything, please let me know. Paula Denson
