Here is what I use for my family history Sunday School class:
Introduction to Family History Computer Guide Religion 261 #35484
This is a great resource, the Church uses it for Institute class' for family
history. Here is the table of contents:
Section 1 What is Personal Ancestral File?
Section 2 Preparing and Accessing Diskettes for PAF files
Section 3 Entering Information into PAF
Section 4 Adding Names to Your Pedigree Chart
Section 5 Printing Charts and Forms
Section 6 What is FamilySearch?
Section 7 Ancestral File
Section 8 Importing Information from Ancestral File into PAF
Section 9 Using the Match/Merge Feature in PAF
Seciton 10 Printing Lists of Incomplete Ordinances
Section 11 Using the Ordinance Index
Section 12 Using TempleReady to Clear Names for the Temple
Section 13 The Family History Library Catalog
Section 14 Submitting a Copy of Your PAF Records to Ancestral File

Now, I don't go over all of the sections for time reasons, but this book is
helpful because if they go to a FHC on the own, it really explains step by
step what they need to do. I continue to use the 'white' book, but I always
add to it. I also may be adding 'A Guide to Research' #30971, I try to make
a no excuse activity that members can do. I also share with some websites
to get them started on the Internet.
