Hi all. The person who posed the original question was concerned about how to answer an person who obviously had ill feelings towards the church. Perhaps part of your answer should include the fact that it is church policy that the church never makes a profit from family history.....not at the FHL, we are only to charge enough in our FHC's to cover printing costs, etc. The DVD's the church sells for the cost of producing them. Since 4.0, it has given PAF away freely. Classes are held at the FHC's for no charge, we have hundreds of thousands of volunteers extracting records at no charge. It is the church's intention to give as much family history to the world as possible.
