I found 11 Lees listed in the surname index to a rare old Cherokee
genealogical book called "Old Cherokee Families," written in the early
1900's.

The surname index is online, as well as the 1835 Cherokee census, and an
online Cherokee genealogy tutorial, that talks you through how to do
Cherokee genealogical research.

The site also has many old rare books, and GREAT excerpts from many of
these books - fantastic reading.

The site is http://members.aol.com/rarebk
