JAMES LEE SR. was born about 1770 Ireland and died December 25, 1837. He
married Nancy Mayse.

vi. Nancy Ann Lee was born 1801 Virginia. She married Noah Cox. He was born
1792. He was the son of Amos Cox.
vii. Hannah Lee was born February 11, 1802 Knox County, Kentucky and died May
9, 1888 Pleasant View, Whitley County, Kentucky. She married Ephraim Rose.
He was born August 9, 1799 South Carolina and died February 17, 1849 Clear
Fort, Whitley County, Kentucky. He was the son of William Rose and Elizabeth
Merritt.
viii. James Lee Jr. was born 1806 Virginia. He married February 19, 1824 (1)
Elizabeth Blakely. She was born 1806 Knox County, Kentucky and died 1870.
She was the daughter of Curtis Blakely and Mariam Wilson.(2) Lucy Shelton.
She was born 1832.
ix. Ferraby Lee married William K. Johnson.

JAMES LEE JR. (James Lee Sr.) was born 1806 Virginia. He married February
19, 1824 (1) Elizabeth Blakely. She was born 1806 Knox County, Kentucky and
died 1870. She was the daughter of Curtis Blakely and Mariam Wilson.(2) Lucy
Shelton. She was born 1832.

Children of James Lee Jr. and Elizabeth Blakely are:
i. Rebecca Lee was born 1825 Knox County, Kentucky and died December 1876.
She married Berry Hembree. He was born about 1835.
ii. Curtis Lee was born 1827 Knox County, Kentucky and died March 25, 1877

iii. James "Jim" Nelson Lee was born May 1889.
iv. Phoeba J. Lee was born November 1896.

EASTER BELLE LEE (Noah Lee, James Lee III, James Lee Jr., James Lee Sr.) was
born April 18, 1886 Knox County, Kentucky and died June 10, 1949. She married
John Shank Engle May 3, 1905. He was born December 31, 1879 and died
December 29, 1957.
