BURRELL LEE, s/o JOHN LEE, s/o JOHN LEE, ESQ. of Johnston Co., NC. John Lee
(Jr.), father of BURRELL, was b. c1730, d. after 22 Aug. 1809, Hawkins Co.,
TN. John prob. m1 ___ in the 1750's, and prob. m2 c1770, Elizabeth _____.

This was BURRELL LEE in our JOHN LEE, ESQ. of Johnston Co., NC line. Burrell
was b. c1775 NC and d. after 1850, AL m. Anna Smith, d/o Elizabeth (Lee) &
Robert Smith, gd/o Thomas Lee, #4. Anna was b. c1780 and died before 1843
(National Archives W1504, Robt. Smith). Ch. LEE (Hawkins Co., Tenn. Deeds 21,
45): Elizabeth, Redden, Robert, Susannah, Jackson, Ann, Winny, Charlotte,
Eady and John.

1804 Tax List of Wilson Co., Tenn.: BURRELL LEE
1850 Census of Madison Co., AL: Burrell Lee 75
Winny 54 b. Tenn.
Charlotte 43 all b. TN
John 38
Susannah 36
Eadie 30

Jackson Lee, 36, b. TN, with
wife & 5 chn.

Thomas R. Gibson, with wife
Elizabeth (Lee), 44,
b. TN & 6 ch.

It is also likely that one or more of BURRELL LEE's BROTHERS (Robert, James,
Hopkins, Cader, and John - all sons of John Lee (Jr.) as seen above) would
name a son for their brother, Burrell, except Robert. Robert was an apparent
bachelor, who left what he had by will to his bros. & sisters.

There may well be other BURRELL-s of other lineages in NC. This is just the
ONE in my own family group of which I'm aware. Remember, a lot of these men
had more than one wife. I don't know that such was the case with "our"
Burrell, but you might keep it in mind.
