his
daughter Martha Lee in c1835 (census).
** John and Mary Lee under guardianship of Needham Lee 1818, 1819, 1820.
There are records in Wilkinson Co. thought to be "returns" made by Needham
Lee, the administrator of Mary (Polly P.) Lee, to her heirs: Lewis, Lovard,
Winniford Pierce and Gilbert McNair, her brothers and married sisters.>>

Adding to the above record, Lees in Jefferson county, GA, per 1820 Census
were:

(2) Elias Lee, 3 males -10, 1 male 10-16, 1 male +45, 1 female -10, 1 female

(Needham and Elias lived about a dozen houses apart.)

Per 1830 Jefferson county, GA, Census:

(2) Neaham (sic) Lee, 1 male 10-15, 1 male 15-20, 1 male 40-50, 1female 50-60

(John and Needham lived 6 houses apart.)

There are no Lees in Jefferson county, GA, in 1840.

Per the 1850 Census for that county:

Amy Lee, 42, F, farmer, b. Burke co., GA, Robert Lee, 18, M, farmer, b.
Jefferson co., GA, Louisiannia (sic) Lee, 17, F, b. Jeff. co., GA, Jasper Lee,

Hope this helps someone.
