I don't think that would help ... unless you used HTML to make the link
an obnoxious color with a huge font ... and blinking. ;-)
Seriously, I think the only solution is to find listserv software that
can be configured to strip HTML and attachments (like here at RootsWeb,
which is why I came here). If software like this is not available off
the shelf, then an open source alternative should be considered.
But this also depends on the ISP you have chosen to host your listserv
and what they will let you do.
Sadly, it doesn't sound like this is a high priority problem.
