I could not let this go without passing on my thoughts. Yes ! a dream indeed.
Frustrating for me, and I will be thinking about it again all night now, is that my late father through away "a similar box" of family goodies in the 1970's because he thought no one would be interested ! I was in my early 20's at the time, so would not have appreciated it's potential for future generations, even if I had known he was to throw them out.
The lesson here of course, is to ensure we tell all our potentially non interested younger members of our families to hang on to what they have, for the day when old age (and hopefully wiser minds) makes them realise the treasure trove of information they may have.
