Hello

I have just purchased the complete Phillimores Leicestershire Marriages on
cd from June Borderick the details about the cd are listed below and I would
recommend it as it fully searchable, compared to others that you can
purchase. I also received the cd within days of sending off my cheque:-

Contents of the full 12 Volume Set
--------------------------------------------------

This CD has taken over a year to produce and comprises over 100
Leicestershire Parishes (See listing in Village Info below for full details}
but is mainly the existing parish registers up to 1837.

The files on this CD have been produced in Plain Text (in Txt Directory)
Word format (in Doc Directory) and also as Web pages, (in Html Directory)

The CD is set to Autoboot but if this does not run, the files can be
accessed
directly from the relevant directories as above, or if Web based format is
required click on Start.Htm in the root directory of the CD. Buttons are
then provided on each page to navigate around the information.

The CD can be easily searched for a surname etc. by using;

Start - Find - Files or Folders
Change "Look In" to your CD Drive
and enter the name you are looking for in "Containing Text"
Then click on "Search Now"

After the search has completed the files containing the requested name
will be listed in the box below. Clicking on these will allow them to viewed

Also under future projects are details of the next work to be undertaken
on Leicestershire resources.

The price for the CD containing all the parishes in the 12 volumes as listed
below is £20 sterling, either in cash or a cheque in sterling drawn on a UK
bank. The price includes postage and packing and payment should be sent to;
