Good Morning, Good Morning!
You may all now cheer loudly...........I have great
news..........................
I have found my Marintha Althera...............and her ancestors to the tune
of at
least 16 generations. Needs confirming, of course.

I used the FamilySearch.org and I found the following and I am still
shaking....................

Marintha Althea MAWBY Birth: 30 Oct 1882
Leicester, Leicestershire, Eng
Parents:
Father: Samuel Willard PALMER
Mother: Mary THORNTON
Marriage(s):
Spouse: Albert WARRINGTON Birth: Abt.1878
Leicester,Leicestershire,Eng
(There is no date given for the marriage).

You will notice that Marintha has the second name of Althea.......
not Althera........must be the Leicestershire accent when her name
was given to my Grand-daughter at Earl Shilton on Saturday afternoon.

However, it was a little confusing to start with because Marintha Althea
is the daughter of Samuel Willard PALMER and Mary THORNTON...........
however, the children from this marriage bear the name of MAWBY.
Samuel Willard PALMER is the son of John PALMER and Ann Jane MAWBY.
(Samuel Willard PALMER married twice, first to a wife named Pauline UNKNOWN
and then for the second time to Ann Jane MAWBY. There were 8 children
(3 daughters and 5 sons).

Anyway, that is my exciting news for today.............Any relatives out
there.........
Whatcha think of that then!
