As I understand it - Lewis is the son of William Sherman Lenhart (and Carrie
Arnold); William said to be son of Samuel, he son of William (b. abt 1810),
William's parents unknown - said to connect to an earlier Llewellyn Lenhart.

As for the - "Name And Address Of Person Who Will Always Know Your Address:
Mrs. Carrie V. Lenhart" - that's apparently his wife (per 1930 census) - his
mother
was also said to be named Carrie.

Some of this family is in my database. Except for some census data (not all
entered yet), my information for the family is based on a 1947 rambling
letter from Florence Lenhart Teats (daughter of Lewis); with the letter is a
news item about the funeral of her grandfather Lenhart. The letter is in
the scrapbook of my grandfather Walter Beck Lenhart. There is no evidence
my grandfather knew of a connection with this line and as yet I have found
no connection. I put the family in my database and have never removed it
(kept it for sentimental reasons).
