Well if anyone is bored to death because of the lack of messages I have my

THE BIRTHDATE FOR ISAAC LEWIS MUST BE WRONG HE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BORN THE
YEAR BEFORE HE SOLD THIS PROPERTY WITH HIS WIFE HATTIE

Isaac Lewis Homestead: First Book of Deeds Index Spokane Co. 1880-1883 Sale:
8/4/1882 Lewis, Isaac to J. N. Squier Inst., Rm. Book A Pg 434 Spokane
County Auditor West 1116 Broadway Spokane, WA 99260 Isaac and Hattie
Homesteaded near Waitsberg, Washington Territory. The winter of 1881-82,
Killed off most of the animals in the area. As a consequence Isaac sold
his homestead and moved to Sprague, W.T.. In August of 1882 Leon was Born.
At this time a new Rail Road repair station was being built in Sprague.
Isaac Lewis disappeared some time after this and Hattie married Orlando M.
Godfrey in 1889. (From 1900 US Census) From the picture we have of Isaac
Lewis we have gleaned the following info: 1. The picture is taken in Walla
Walla where Isaac married Hattie in 1879. 2. Isaac is showing off a ring on
his left hand wedding finger. 3. He is wearing a tie pin which looks like it
may be made with diamonds. These were later used by Carl and Mary Lewis for
rings. Elizabeth Lewis has one of these diamonds in her wedding ring. 4.
Isaac looks to be about 40 which would make his birthday about 1839. 5.
James Allan Lewis looks like Isaac. From Mary Christian Wilson Lewis, Carl
Lewis' wife we learn that Isaac Lewis was: 1. From New York 2. Was of
Jewish descent 3, His father's name was Isaac. 4. Isaac disappeared from his
family on the Eastern Washington Prairies some time in the eighteen
eighties. In a search of the Washington and Oregon Death records one Isaac
Lewis was found that could meet all the known data to date: 1. FULL NAME:
Isaac Lewis 2. PLACE OF DEATH: 4206 Broklyn Ave. NE., Seattle, Washington;
Record No.: 484-2119-484 3. Sex: M. 4. Color or Race: W. 5. Married 6.
Date of Birth: February 28, 1838. 7. Age: 77 yrs, 1 day 8. Occupation:
Retired 9. Birthplace: New York 10. Name of Father: Isaac Lewis , 11.
Birthplace of Father: New York. 12. Maiden name of Mother: Not known 13.
Birthplace of Mother: Penn. 14. Informant: W. S. Lewis, 4206 Brooklyn Ave.,
Seattle, Washington 15. Filled: March 1, 1915 16. Date of Death: February
28th, 1915, Isaac died on his 77th birthday 17. CAUSE OF DEATH: Chronic
valvular disease, heart 18. 19. Place of burial or removal: Cremation-Co.,
Mar. 2, 1915, Seattle 20. Certified: Jun 3, 1986 Based on the above
evidence we believe this death certificate is the record of our Isaac
Lewis. 1980
