Dear Don,

Thanks for your message:

<< Dear Bellinda, I have read your posting, to the "Lewis" page carefully - -
- and I was unable to find a "Lewis" reference. Might I inquire just how
many "pages" you spread your inquiry across? It does not seem to fit in, in
any way, with the "Lewis" page. Peace be with you and yours. Don Love >>

Don, the reason for the absence of any LEWIS names was basically a
distraction with a telephone call just as I was proofreading the post leading
to an accidental omission of the LEWIS information which was called to my
attention by another on the LEWIS list which I responded to but I guessed you
missed the 2nd message that went out shortly after the 1st.

The 2nd post with the missing information is regarding 2 LEWIS branches of
the Elizabeth WARNER and John "Councillor" LEWIS lineage through sons, Robert
"of Belvoir" LEWIS, and (Colonel) Charles Lilburne "Of the Byrd" LEWIS, Sr.
as follows below my signature at the end of this email.

And, in addition to those 2 lines of paternal LEWIS lineage that I descend
from mentioned further below there is yet a 3rd LEWIS line in my maternal
lineage that I am still trying to find more information about from my
ancestral grandfather, Lewis ap Lewis/Lewis LEWIS whose daughter, Mary LEWIS,
married Lewis LAMKIN, (descended from Hannah COX, (possible daughter/neice or
? of Vincent COX, immigrant,) and her husband, George LAMKIN, and Mrs. Hannah
COX LAMKIN married as her 2nd husband, Dr. Samuel DEMOURVILLE/DEMOURVALL.

Lewis LAMKIN and Mary LEWIS were the parents of Mary "Molly/Polly" LAMKIN who
married Peter Lewis HATTEN, (descends from John HATTON, immigrant in 1613
from England to Jamestowne, VA,) who were the parents of Lewis Lamkin HATTEN
who married Sarah "Sally" UNDERWOOD and they were the parents of William
HATTEN who was born in Jan. 1800 at Tar River, Nash Co., NC, who married
Frances Lucretia "Patsy" LOTT, born: abt. 1802 in AL, daughter of Martha Jane
Dorsey LIGHTFOOT, born: abt. 1786, and Absalom LOTT, son or grandson of John
LOTT and Elizabeth JOYNER, born: 1720 in Isle of Wight Co., VA, daughter of
Elizabeth BROWN(E) and John JOYNER, son of Bridgeman JOYNER, Sr. and Ann
HARRIS, daughter of Ann MARTIN?/TOMLIN? and Thomas HARRIS, son of Alice WEST,
(descends from Lords De La WARRE lineage it is thought and JUDD and SMYTHE,)
and Thomas HARRIS.

See the aforementioned 2 LEWIS lines information immediately below this email.

Sincerely,

Bellinda Myrick - Barnett

Dear Jay,

Thanks very much for calling my attention to the question of

<So what is the LEWIS connection?> as I must have been distracted right
before writing it in there.

Shortly into this email there is a LEWIS family tree, (about 4 paragraphs
below,) and If you will see my original message again farther below under
this email where it shows the name of my grandfather,

James Martin "Jim" MYRICK who was born in 1892 near Magee, Simpson Co., MS,
and his wife, (who was my grandmother,) Allie Artimissa PARKER, who was born
in 1892 near Braxton, Simpson or Rankin Co., MS who was the daughter of

Spencer B. PARKER, born: 1892 near Magee, Simpson Co., MS, (descends from
(Sir) John EARLE through Samuel EARLE, I, Samuel EARLE, II, (Major) Samuel
EARLE, III, b: 1692 in Westmoreland Co., VA, (1st Member of the House of
Burgesses from Frederick Co., VA,) through his 2nd son of the name Samuel
EARLE, IV from his 2nd marriage to Elizabeth HOLBROOK/HOLDBROOKE, born: abt.
1733, after his marriage to Anna SORRELL, (who also descends from the David
CRAWFORD lineage as does the Elizabeth CRAWFORD mentioned below in the WARNER
- LEWIS - MERIWETHER - CRAWFORD information,) and continuing with the 2nd son
of the 2nd marriage named Samuel EARLE, IV, (RS/Sgt./Rev. War,) and his wife,
Tabitha WILLIAMS, (descends from BILLINGTON - WILLIAMS and PEMBERTON -
WILLIAMS lines of 1600's Virginia,) John PAYNE, (immigrant from England to
Rappahannock Co., VA, born: abt. 1615 in Yorkshire, England, died: 1689 in
Maryland when he was murdered during the Maryland Protestant Revolution,) and
John JENNINGS, (immigrant from England to Rappahannock Co., VA, born: 22 May
1640 in St. Martin's Parish, Birmingham, Worcester Co., VA, and (Captain)
Alexander DONIPHAN, (all immigrants in early to mid-1600's from England to
Virginia, and possibly early immigrant, Richard ROBINSON,) and Jeremiah
PARKER, born: 1795 in Maryland.)

And Spencer B. PARKER's wife, (he was her 3rd husband we believe as she
married him and her other husband, Wesley BRIGHT, under the name of Moranda
COLEMAN,) who was Mrs. Rachael Moranda/Maranda "Randa/Randy" LEWIS (COLEMAN?)
(BRIGHT), born: abt. 1820 in Jones Co., MS. who was the daughter of Harriett
ELLZEY, born: abt. 1824, (daughter of Mary COLLINS? and Evan ELLZEY of SC,)
and John LEWIS, born: abt. 1820 in Jones Co., MS, son of Nancy COPELAND,
(dau of Rachael TUCKER, born: abt. 1765 in NC, (still looking for her
parents???,) and Ripley COPELAND, (RS,) born: abt. 1761 in NC, lived in
Sumter Co., SC,) and Howell LEWIS, born: bet. 1781-1785 in Granville Co.,
NC.)

My paternal 3rd great grandfather, Howell LEWIS, born: bet. 1782 - 1788 in
