Al and Jay,
I'm also researching Rhode Island Lewises, but haven't been able to
connect my line to either George Lewis of Barnstable or John Lewis of
Westerly, both of whom had sons named James, the name of my ancestor.
My James came from East Greenwich, RI, and married Waite Gould of
Kingstown, dau. of William and Penelope Gould. I have a lot of info on
both George and John Lewis, if you need help on them. I'd appreciate any
information you might have on "my" James!
