Hello Adrianne,
Stonehouse is in Devonshire not Gloucestershire so that is why you can't find
them. Stonehouse is very close to Plymouth, Devonshire. Phillimore's Atlas
and Index of Parish Registers (1984...there is a later edition) show that in
Plymouth one of the churches, Charles the Martyr, has registers beginning in
1644 and Non-conform. records located at the Public Record Office beginning
in 1662. I mention the latter because maybe the LDS Library have it too.
Another church at Plymouth is St Andew which has registers beginning in 1581,
the IGI has the same records, Boyd's Marriage Index has records beginning in
1581-1633 for St Andrew. I have a note that Lippincott's may have lived at
Sidbury, Devonishre and the IGI begins in 1609 there. I have looked for the
Lippincotts too and know it's not an easy task.
Hope this helps. Jean
