Dear Members,
I reside in the State of Florida and I was born in the State of
Massachusetts. My family line has been established in Scotland. My
major problem is obtaining information on my ninth generation
grandmother, Rebakah ( SHORT ) ( MAN ) Cowen. She was a widow but was
married in Norwich, Norfolk, England. I have no idea where or when
she was born. Her first husband, Richard Man, was christened the year
1611 but her second husband was born 1632. I have no idea if she
could have been very young when she married her first husband and was
she older than her second husband. She gave birth per the existing
records to her first child in 1646 and the last child in 1666. Anyone
with any ideas or suggestions this list or my e-mail is open for
suggestions.
Please feel free to converse on the list since we may have a
better understanding of what each of us is having to deal with in our
research!
