I am a new lister on Lithuania-L and Lithuania-Jewish-L and would like to
introduce myself.

My name is Valerie Hulderman. I am investigating the history of my father's
family who were from Telsiai, Lithuania.

My grgrgrandfather, Meyer ROSIN and his wife Schoene "Jenny" NEWMARK left the port
at Hamburg, Germany in August of 1892 on the "Augusta Victoria," with 5 of their 6
children. The oldest, Herman, had gone ahead of them a few years previous to join
his uncle, William NEWMARK in NYC. Meyer's father was Sidney ROSIN and his mother
was Celia GAVSHON (Gafson). Jenny's parents were Saul NEWMARK and Blume ZOLKOVER
(Solkover). I have much more information for anyone interested in these lines but
these are my primary surnames associated with Lithuania.

I've already enjoyed the great historical information that many of you have posted
and look forward to learning more from you all. Thank you for allowing me to join
your community!
