C. D. af Wirsen, Permanent Secretary of the Swedish Academy wrote, quoted in
part,
regarding the 1905 Nobel Prize award: "Their inspiration is deeply rooted in
the past, like the oaktree of BAUBLIS in the desert of Lithuania."
Does anyone have any information re the oaktrees of Baublis in Lithuania?
