Hi all,
Happy soon to be holidays.

I received a letter out of the blue yesterday from a woman in Lithuania
who is almost certainly a cousin. It wasd the most exciting thing that has
happend in years. I don't know if she got my information from the web or
from someone else I had contacted there, but she gave me enough info to
lead me to believe there's a sure connection.

I just thought I'd mention this so that those of you who've been banging
your heads against walls for years and years will be reminded that there
is hope afterall. This woman even said that, although her father passed
away in 1984, she has a living aunt "who is about 100 years old" who can
help. If this aunt is even nearly that old, she probably even met my great
grandfather before he left for America or she's his sister or something
crazy like that. They still live in the town where he was born in Simnas
in the Alytaus region.

Hang in there, good things come to those who wait.
