Robbyn,
To add to the information you have been receiving, I will tell you that
there was a Lithuanian family living in Chicago during the '40's and
later--John Baranauskas with a daughter, Ann Baranauskas and perhaps
some sons. They may not be part of your family, but it may help to
indicate the more probable spelling of the surname. While Baranauckas
may be pronounced the same, I have not seen that spelling, but have seen
the other. Hope this is worth a little to you.
