and George , here is her reply

Hi Don,
about your question on Nancy Jane Locke, I have long believed that there was
only one Nancy and she was married to both Vardamion Minton and George
Washington Minton. It is a puzzle and if it gets straightened out, please let
me know.

In the 1860 Census of Lee Co Va, Nancy is married to Vardamion and they have
four children.
In "Early Settlers in Clairborne County Tennessee" by P.G. Fulkerson on page
19, it indicates that Nancy and George Washington married about the mid
1850's.

Where did the record come from that lists all of Nancy and George's children?
