I would love to see some take between us in the USA and you all in England
too .
I think the major problem is for one most of us here in the USA with the
exception of a few don't know who our immigrant ancestor was and would be
some what difficult to make a connection to England without knowing our
immigrant .
From my understanding , USA inbound Ships Passenger Lists are few and far
between and many have been lost over time but I was once told that England
kepted very good records for Citizens of England who departed for the USA and
other places, is this true ? I for one would love to find Lock(e)
researchers in England willing to exchange help for research done in the USA
as it would benifit us all on both ends I think ! :)
One of the problems is , every time I get contacted by a researcher in
England is , I rarely get sent any history on thier family or am not sent
enough history to help make a connection . I would be more then happy to work
with you and others from England to see if we can start building a better
idea of who our ancestors were , here and there .
If you go to the Locke email list archives , you will see that I posted
quite alot of England Lock(e) Marriages and Births last year on this list .
