Hello Ron, and others using cyber-slang.
TTFN was made famous by the late great Tommy Handley, a comedian on the
BBC radio, who during and after the war had the best half hour of the week.
I am sure those of us who are now seniors will remember the many sayings
from the members of the cast. Mona Lott: "It's being so cheerful that keeps
me going." or Funf: This is Funf schpeaking. I don't remember who said
TTFN. I think it was Mrs. Mop.
