I'm replying to your massage, but not to answer your request. The chances
of anyone on this list to being related anyone of the people you are
researching is very small. It is not much higher for people with
information about the people you are researching. That's the bad news.
What the list is good for, is to provide you with advice on doing your
research, such as the places to look or to write to. Ask more general
questions - Does anyone know where I can obtain information about 18th
century actresses in the London area ? for instance.
I notice your signature just gives you name. In order to increase the
chance of finding the one person who can help or even has information you
should beef up you sig a little to include the names, see my sig below.
Then each time you post you increase the chance. Don't just post
questions, if you can assist another on the net then respond.

Researching: JAMES, ROOF, HAYWORTH and BAXTER(London);
HAYBALL (Somerset); ELLIOTT and MARSDEN(Lancs);
MORRISON (India and London); MUNDEN(Northampton);
TOMLIN and SITGRAVE(Leicester)
-------- Original Message --------
I'd like to thank all of you who replied to my test - received replies
from
all over the globe - I guess it works okay - BUT
After my test message I send another inquiring if anyone had any
information
about a Pitt family who lived on London Bridge - not a reply - so I'll try
another approach - anyone related to Anne Pitt (actress at Covent Garden,
b.
1720), her brother Cecil Pitt, step brothers James and John Pitt???
Thanks
Mary
