Hi Everybody,,THANK YOU ALL for the nice messages there were sooooo many,,I
will try to get back to all in due time. needless to say those who
appreciated the URL way out did the negative ones ,,,so here goes again.
For those people looking for the elusive family-member in the London
areas, this could be of help.
ABNEY PARK CEMETERY.
The project is underway to index all of the 194,815 burials that
took place in the Cemetery from 1840-1978. To date the data bank includes
101,847 of the total burials.
You are able to check surname interest in an alphabetical list,or
you can go directly to the "Details of a given surname" where details of
grave number,,, burial-Death date ?? surname, age..and christian name
or innitials.....
The second URL is for the ABNEY PARK home page which is very
interesting.

>From this site you can have access to the HACKNEY ARCHIVES
where they will do a search on the names found BUT will charge.
16 British pounds (approx $35 Aus) for a 1 hours search....or 8 British
pounds..($17 Aus) for a 30 min search. the search I believe does include
copies of documents found, and you have to pay postage.
