Just in case you missed this one, there is a reference to this surname in the
East of London FHSs INDEX to the 1851 Census of St Geo in the East:
(surname only)
Sub district St Mary: HO107 piece 1547 folio 224 (READDING rpt READDING).
Check the actual Census microfilm, available through your local Mormon FHC
No trace in the other two SDs - St Paul and St John
