Agreed. Phoenix were taken over by Sun Alliance but -

A quick update: Sun Alliance, in turn, has now merged with Royal
Insurance and is now called
"Royal & SunAlliance" - who operate world-wide.

The address is still the same though (Postcode is EC2N 2AB) and the
telephone number
from the UK is 0171 588 2345

I believe that they have web-site at

which may contain an e-mail facility
