Hello,

can anyone tell me:-
1. Where can I find out about the conviction, sentence etc of someone
sent to Australia (or actually Van Diemens Land) in 1839?
2. Is there an Australia Look up Exchange?

Sorry if these aren't specifically for this list, but they ARE genealogy
questions, and everyone is so helpful I thought it would be the most
likely place to find out.
