Hi list,

Glad to be back after doing a "genealogy drive" across the USA, CT to CA
- what a treat.....

Can anyone help me place Britannia Gardens on a map? The 1871 Census
shows it in St. Marylebone, City of London, Parliamentary Borough of St.
Marylebone and in the Muni Ward of Bryanston Square.

I gather it was a complex of houses (cottages) inhabited by Irish
Immigrants - surnames: Campbell (Cork), Blake (Tipperary), Gerin
(Limerick), Fitzgerald (Limerick), Clancy (Limerick), Sheehan
(Limerick), and Nor(or v?)mile (Limerick).

TIA
Jana Black
