Unlike here in Western Australia, where we have for reasons unknown
been either given or aquired the old bells from St Martins in the Field.
Our local Premier, a Richard Court has seen fit to spend out copious
amounts of money proposing to house them in a huge monstrosity of a
bell tower that will almost certainly spoil the Perth City skyline, despite
protests from a large contingent of the community (where the money
should be spent on more essential requirements like hospitals, etc.).

When it's built, we already have a name locally for it.

You Londoners have Big Ben - we have Big Dick.

(Dick for Richard, naturally)
