I am looking for information on Benjamin BURFORD ,wife Ann ...?., and
their 5 sons.

Here is the information I can go on.(From family Bible(W.H.Burford)).

William Henville was the fifth son of Benjamin and Ann,born Jan 24th
1807,St Catherine's,
Middlesex.
Benjamin was a tallow chandler, oil and colourman (what was that?) and
from Smithfield.

William had a seven year apprenticeship to butchering before branching
out into the same business as his father. A billhead extract referring
to "W.H.Burford tallow chandler,oil and colourman,19
Cannon Street" (St.George, East London). William also joined the
sailor's missionary at 19,
(Rev. G.C. Smith), and he led the singing at the Billingsgate fish
market.

Can any tell me more about the fish markets, the sailor's
missionary,and/or Rev. Smith?

William and his family migrated to Australia in 1838(married Elizabeth
MESSENT).

This is my first message, so hello and thanks in advance,
Neil.
