Hello,

I have been researching AUTY and HATT in England and 4 of them moved to New Zealand, after 1800 and before 1850. There was 10 children in total. Can anyone tell me why they would have moved at that time? They came from a well off family, yet got married and moved to New Zealand, not neccessarily in that order. All were daughters of Joseph AUTY, born 1781 in Middlesex or London (Chapel of Weld, Southgate, Edmonton). Matilda COLLINS, nee AUTY (b.1814), Ellen SHOTTER, nee AUTY (b.1815), Jane Mary AUTY (b.1812 married but unknown last name) and Sarah HURLEY or HARLEY, nee AUTY (b.1810), all moved to New Zealand.

If anyone can search this out for me, or knows of a descendant, it would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for any information on any AUTY or HATT.
